Are You A QFF Original Member? Qantas Wants To Celebrate With You!

by | Oct 2, 2017 | Member Engagement

As part of the celebrations of Qantas Frequent Flyer’s 30th Anniversary, CEO Lesley Grant herself is sending out commemorative tickets to the original frequent flyer members who joined all the way back in 1987.

‘We’re celebrating an incredible 30 years since Qantas Frequent Flyer was launched,’ Ms Grant wrote.

‘As one of the original members, we’d like to thank you for coming on the journey with us. That’s why we’d like to present you with this personalised commemorative boarding pass.’

‘It’s our way of thanking you for your continued support, helping us to grow from fledgling beginnings back in 1987 to our status today as Australia’s largest airline loyalty program, with nearly 12 million members worldwide.

‘We very much look forward to rewarding you for years to come.’

As Lesley is about to hand over the reins of Qantas Loyalty to the very capable Jayne Hrdlicka, could this be her swan-song?

Disappointingly the original QFF member we received the insight from wasn’t too impressed with his commemorative boarding pass. Qantas revoked his Chairman’s Lounge membership a couple of years ago, and he declared this was more salt to rub into the wound.

Did you receive a commemorative boarding pass? We’d love to hear your thoughts.
